A Reminder of My Passion

Had a good time training a group of young civil service people today. One of them wrote me an email:

"Dear Chris,

I am one of your course participant from MHA today and first of all I would like to thank you for your selfless sharing of knowledge with all of us. Being an investment analyst for almost 3 years pior to joining MHA, I came to your course with a set mentality that this is another waste of time. But your ability to distill financial concepts into what a layman can understand is commendable. The lesson on the "need, ability and willingness"to take risk are simple concepts which even a trained person like me sometimes overlooked and your analogy of a cooking recipe vs investment products really illustrate what investment planning is all about.

I am a wiser person after leaving your class. Do continue to keep up your passion in providing pure, unbiased financial advice. The industry really needs it. In my previous industry, pure, independent investment research is hard to come by too. Like what you say, this is how the industry works... Thank you once again to you and your Team."

Best Regards,
David

I am so thankful to David. It is people like him that reminds me of what I am here for. My mission and purpose, and my passion of making sure people get unbiased financial advice
